Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE)
The gold-standard cardiac ultrasound. Captures high-resolution real-time imaging of heart chambers, valves, wall motion dynamics, and precise ejection fraction.
Commonly indicated for:
Routine cardiac checkups, hypertension follow-up, palpitations, murmur evaluation
Stress Echocardiogram
Evaluates cardiac contractility and coronary perfusion under exercise or pharmacologic stress to identify inducible ischemia and hidden coronary artery disease.
Commonly indicated for:
Suspected CAD, unexplained shortness of breath or chest discomfort on exertion
Bubble Study (cTTE)
Contrast saline imaging performed alongside a TTE to assess for intracardiac shunts, Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO), and right-to-left communication.

Cryptogenic stroke workup, migraine with aura, unexplained hypoxemia
